John R. Eyerman graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1989. In 1990, John began his career in family law and pursued his interest in representing abused and neglected children in the Brooklyn office of The Legal Aid Society's Juvenile Rights Division.
During John's four years as a law guardian, he represented, advocated for and protected the legal rights of thousands of children in the foster care system. While working in Family Court, he nurtured successful professional relationships with foster parents, court personnel, social workers and foster care agencies.
In 1994, John continued his work in Family law when he entered private practice representing clients on foster care issues and adoptions. Since then, John has finalized hundreds of adoptions in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island, the Bronx, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties for foster parents with the Administration of Children's Services and several private foster care agencies throughout New York City.
In addition, John R. Eyerman handles interstate adoptions and has represented adoptive parents residing in Florida, Mississippi, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
